Hi, I’m Kailey — the occupational therapist behind Blooming pOTential.
I graduated from Nebraska Methodist College and began my career in travel therapy, which first brought me to Arizona. I later moved to Las Vegas, where I met my husband, and continued my work in pediatric therapy there. I worked in both an outpatient clinic and a company specializing in in-home and clinic-based therapy for children with complex medical needs, autism, cerebral palsy, and other developmental challenges.
During this time, I collaborated closely with speech therapists to support sensory regulation and accessibility tools that helped children improve independence and, for many, gain better access to communication.
Now back in Omaha, I’m excited to bring my love for in-home therapy to families in this community. I believe kids thrive most when therapy happens in the environments where they live, play, and grow. Working directly in homes allows me to not only support children but also empower parents and caregivers through hands-on training during sessions — so progress continues long after therapy ends.
I take a creative, whole-child approach, always tailoring therapy to meet each child’s unique needs and strengths. My passion is helping children become regulated, independent, and ready to take on the world around them.
